Removing scuffs from patent shoes

Everyone scuffs their shoes now and then, and there is a simple way to get rid of those unwanted scuffs. Use petroleum jelly! Dip the end of a cotton swab in petroleum jelly and gently rub the jelly into the shoe until the marks fade away.
